Oral Performance

John Francis Bongiovi Jr. was born March 2nd, 1962 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, USA. His father, Frank Bongiovi is ex-marine and his mother, Carol Sharkey is an ex-miss. He grew up in Sayreville. At the age of 13, Jon Bon Jovi began to play piano and guitar, learning Elton John songs. At that same age, Bon Jovi founded his first band, called Raze. Jon enrolled in an all-boys Catholic school St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey but left it after pleading his case to his parents; he wanted to attend public school. He went on to attend Sayreville War Memorial High School. At the age of sixteen, Bon Jovi met David Bryan and founded a 12-piece cover band with him, named Atlantic City Expressway.
By the summer of 1982, he was out of school and working part-time. With the help of his cousin, Tony Bongiovi, he made several demos and sent them out to many record companies, but failed to make an impact.

He finally got his big break when a local radio station, liked "Runaway", and included it on a compilation album. New York radio stations began playing it, so Jon needed to get a band together. Bon Jovi was finally complete when bass player Alec John Such introduced guitarist Richie Sambora to Jon. Jon and the band have since experienced tremendous success with their music career.

Jon Bon Jovi
Crossroads
Always
This Romeo is bleeding
But you (can't/won’t) see his blood
It's nothing but some feelings
That this old dog kicked up
It's been raining since you left me
Now I (am going to /will) drowning in the flood
You see I've always been a fighter
But without you I (will/am going to) give up
Now I (won’t/can't/ am going to) sing a love song
Like the way it (will/ is) meant to be
Well, I guess I (am/will/can) not that good anymore
But baby, that's just me
And I (won’t/ will/ am going to) love you, baby - (Always/ Anymore)
And I (won’t/ am not going to/ will) be there forever and a day – (Always/ Anymore)
I (will/ won’t/ am going to) be there till the stars don't shine
Till the heavens burst and
The words don't rhyme
And I know when I die, you (will/ won’t) be on my mind
And I (won’t/ will/ am not going to) love you – Always
Now your pictures that you left behind
Are just memories of a different life
Some that made us laugh, some that made us cry
One that made you have to say goodbye
What I'd give to run my fingers through your hair
To touch your lips, to hold you near
When you say your prayers try to understand
I've made mistakes, I'm just a man
When he holds you close, when he pulls you near
When he says the words you've been needing to hear
I (am going to/ won’t/ will) wish I was him 'cause those words are mine
To say to you till the end of time
Yeah, I (won’t/ am going to/will) love you baby - Always
And I (will/won’t/am not going to) be there forever and a day - Always
If you told me to cry for you
I (could/couldn’t)
If you told me to die for you
I (would /wouldn’t)
Take a look at my face
There's no price I (will/won't/ am going to) pay
To say these words to you
Well, there ain't no luck
In these loaded dice
But baby if you give me just one more try
We (can/can’t) pack up our old dreams
And our old lives
We'll find a place where the sun still shines
And I (won’t/ will/ am going to) love you, baby - (Always/ Anymore)
And I (won’t/ am not going to/ will) be there forever and a day – (Always/ Anymore)
